FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED SCAFFOLDING QUESTIONS

Getting everything ready for your project can be time consuming and it's understandable you don't want to waste time researching information on scaffolds. This is why we have compiled a list of questions we're frequently asked with helpful answers. Need more information? Don't hesitate to contact our team. We're always happy to help.

  • Should I use steel or aluminium scaffolding?

That will usually depend on the size and scope of your project. Steel is more durable and long-lasting, making it a cost-effective choice for long-term projects, while aluminium is perfect for quick, simple projects. Of course, there's no perfect solution, and our team will go over your project completely before giving a formal suggestion.

  • Do you deliver outside of Port Macquarie?

Absolutely. We have a wide delivery and erection service area, including Wauchope, Laurieton, Moreland, Bonny Hills, Kempsey, Telegraph Point and the entire Mid North Coast.

  • Will I need to erect the scaffold myself?

No. While small scaffolds will not need a licence, major projects will require trained and certified scaffolders to handle the erection process. Our team is fully qualified and experienced in all aspects of scaffold construction and dismantling.

  • What if I have two construction sites?

No worries! We're able to provide cost-effective scaffold transport services throughout the region. Saving you money on dismantling and re-erection services.

  • Will I need to provide work platforms and accessories myself?

No. We carry a huge range of platforms, signage and other accessories to use with our hired scaffolds. Of course, you're more than welcome to provide your own accessories to reduce your costs—as long as they are OH&S compliant.
